Mahatma Gandhi College of Agricultural Biotechnology was established on 02 October, 2004 at Pokharni, Nanded. It is 08 km away from the Nanded city on Purna- Nanded Road. It has 100 students intake capacity per year. Agricultural Biotechnology education was initiated to impart scientific and technical knowledge to the students in the field of Molecular Biology, Plant & Animal Biotechnology, Food Biotechnology & Post Harvest Management, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Genetics & Genetic Engineering, and Enzyme Technology. It is also aimed to provide comprehensive & effective training to the students in the application of Biotechnological skills in the plants, animal science, and tissue culture for the benefit of society.
